TRIPS & DIPS Wanna Bees
For children entering Kindergarten

Wanna Bees is uniquely designed to meet the needs of children who will be entering Kindergarten and are ready for a hu-latta summer fun, but are not quite ready for the Explorers (for children entering 1st & 2nd grades). This program will introduce the different activities that they will be able to participate in with the Explorers Group in the future. Spaces are limited and we will fill up early, so register today! Only completed applications will be considered on a first come basis and must include application, tuition worksheet & payment. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. The kids that have attended Trips & Dips have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and parents have praised the safe, nurturing, fun environment enhanced by experienced, professional staff.

TRIPS & DIPS EXPLORERS
For children entering 1st-2nd grades
Trips & Dips Explorers will be diving into a summer filled with FUN! Each session is centered on a different theme which is incorporated into the daily scheduled activities. Themes may include: Having a Ball, Holiday Hullabaloo, Crafty Creators, Slip, Slide & Away, and Gobs of Fun. The Explorers will be spending their days having fun with arts & crafts, exciting games and sports, as well as thrilling field trips and lazy days at the local pool.

TRIPS & DIPS ADVENTURERS
For children entering 3rd-5th grades
Trips & Dips Adventurers will be on the run each session. They will visit local sites in the metropolitan area such as Cascade Lake, Go-Carting, Batting Cages, Luray Caverns and a Mystics or Nationals Game and Young Chefs Academy, as well as spend lazy afternoons at the pool. When the Adventurers are on site, they will have their choice of exciting clubs including sports, games, cooking or arts & crafts projects.

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING (CIT) PROGRAM
For kids who have completed 7th-9th grades
The program has been developed to provide an opportunity for MCPS students to obtain Student Service Learning (SSL) hours. This program builds leadership skills and provides opportunities for emergent leaders to be positive role models for elementary school children. Each CIT applicant must complete a Trips & Dips Counselor In Training Application and obtain two written references from teachers who can speak to your leadership skills, dependability, and character.
